Formerly The Boulder Green Building Guild, The CGBG is a non-profit trade organization, representing a wide range of green building leaders. The Guild advances the craft of green building through education, networking, lobbying, market development, and member resources. Their staff will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about German innovations in energy efficient building systems on display at dasHAUS. The goal of University Day is to serve as a springboard for students to engage in a discussion about renewable energy and energy efficiency in the built environment. The U.S. Green Building Council Colorado Chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that established in the state of Colorado in 2003. USGBC Colorado was the 15th chapter to be recognized by U.S. Green Building Council and is part of a nationwide network of local chapter’s that all contribute to the mission of transforming the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.

Join fellow architects, engineers, green building and solar energy professionals for a series of expert presentations on the latest developments in advancing renewable energy and energy efficiency in buildings. From tracking buildings’ energy performance to the latest programs aimed at expanding net-zero energy design, conference topics will center around a central theme: an exchange of ideas, approaches and know-how between Denver’s industry experts and their German counterparts.
